MÖLL WINKLERN

MÖLL
WINKLERN

In one of the most beautiful valleys of Carinthia, the Mölltal, passionate fly fishermen find an extraordinary area. The Mölltal impresses with soothing tranquility and its pristine river landscape with clear water. Rapid and slowly flowing river sections with pools and gravel banks, gliding and bumpy banks alternate. The fish population is excellent, which is ensured by the removal limit practiced for many years. Brown trout, grayling, brook trout and even rainbow trout are at home here.

CHARAKTERISTICS

The  of beat of Gut Aichenegg reaches from the confluence of the Kolmitzenbach near Mörtschach to the sanctuary in the Raintaler Auen near Lainach. It is almost 8 km long and fishable on both sides. Alders, birches and larches line the pristine shore areas. The decidedly grippy rock allows easy wading. Hip-high waders are quite enough on the entire route. The Möll is accessible from both sides via the embankment and parking is also within easy reach.

BEAT INFORMATION

Fly fishing only with artificial fly and protective hook. Maximum one fish removal per fisherman per day. We limit the number of fishermen to 6 per day - so please reserve at the latest the day before!
